So Friday the 13th was one of the most eventful days we have ever had. It started bright and early around 5am when my sister Randee helped me get my sister-in-law ready for her wedding... Yeah, her and her husband were bound to change the negative stigma associated with that day. It was a beautiful morning, the temple went perfectly, everything was going smoothly, too smoothly it turned out. We arrived to the reception with Elliot looking adorable, decked out in a tux. It was about 2 minutes before pictures and suddenly I heard Elliot cry. Him and his uncle Quinn were playing together upstairs and there was a little accident. Elliot and his little, determined, self took a dive off the couch, head-first. Suddenly, I looked up the stairs and saw blood all over Quinn's hands and he was apologizing, Elliot's whole face was covered in blood and, Jace, my non-stressing husband, was saying we need to go to the hospital. So we went to the the ER and Elliot needed 7 stitches in his right eyebrow. He was the most adorable patient. By the time we got to the ER he was waving at the receptionist and smiling at himself in the mirror. Jace and I felt really ridiculous in our reception clothes, but at least we were all dressed for the occasion! Needless to say we missed pictures, but we returned just in time for the end of the festivities and cheesecake! Also, I feel very successful because I got the blood out of the tux. It was quite an eventful day, and proved to hold trure to it's Friday the 13th status...

This was the day after the event, I didn't have my camera at the reception which is so sad because I don't have any pictures of Elliot in his tux, or the narley cut before it got stitched up. |
Ohh the poor little guy :( I am sorry that happened. He sure is cute!
ReplyDeleteThat breaks my heart! I hope he's recovering quick! Miss you and love you dearly!
