Elliot turned one today. We had such a great time celebrating with our families and friends on Saturday. We had a "turtle"ly awesome party at Jace's grandparents pool. We did everything turtle with a turtle cake, pinata and games. Thanks to my mom it was a real hit! She helped me with so much and it turned out wonderful. We have so much support from the people in our lives, and Elliot is truly so loved! Thank-you everyone who came and celebrated his special day with us.

The cute gift bags my mom made.

My father-in-law put these balloons in Elliot's pants and he crawled around with them for about an hour haha.

The awesome cake my mom decorated that turned out amazing.

I can't believe I have a one year old. I have these vivid memories of my pregnancy and labor and especially my delivery.  After a very lucky, smooth, 4 hours of labor I suddenly delivered this incredible little bundle of perfect who smelled like a dream and smiled in his sleep. He made these tiny little grunting sounds all night long and I could have held him all day, sometimes I did. Then one day he just started growing into this beautiful little boy with so much personality and attitude. He is so independent sometimes it makes me so sad I want to just hold him again, like a little baby. I get so excited for all the exciting things that come with big boys though, like T-ball and soccer and swimming lessons and especially finally being able to jump on the tramp with Easton and Eryn! He is finally getting some teeth in and he is struggling with it right now, bless his heart. I just love him so much and we are so excited to have our little guy in our lives and look forward to all the many more years that we will get to enjoy him and everything he brings into our lives. I don't know what we would do without him!
